Methods for reducing friction errors in CK40 Precision CNC Machine Tool
2025-12-12 16:33:34

When machining parts on CK40 Precision CNC machine tool, the machining route, process parameters, and tool data of the parts should be determined in advance according to the requirements of the parts machining drawings. Then, the CNC machining program of the parts should be written according to the relevant provisions of the CNC lathe programming manual, and the CNC machining program should be input into the CNC system through the input device.

With the support of CNC system control software, after processing and calculation, corresponding control instructions are issued, and the Precision CNC lathe is moved according to the predetermined trajectory through the servo system to perform cutting and machining of parts.

It should be noted that CK40 Precision CNC Machine Tool inevitably experience friction during this process. So how can we reduce the errors caused by friction?

1. Reduce friction in the transmission system

Using rolling guides, liquid static pressure guides, air static pressure guides, etc. to reduce system friction, while reducing the difference between dynamic and static friction, and improving the dynamic performance of the feed system. However, adopting high-performance guide rails will greatly increase the cost of Precision CNC lathe.

2. Improve the stiffness of servo drive system

By increasing the stiffness of the position loop, speed loop, and current loop of the servo drive system, small error signals can be adjusted to the motor drive current in a timely and sufficient manner when friction errors occur. But high stiffness can easily cause system oscillation.

Reducing the control cycle of each control loop in the servo drive is also beneficial for improving the system's response speed. However, reducing the control cycle requires high hardware performance from the CNC device.
